The Indians' bullpen held Brandon Moss' 100th home run ball for ransom
Indians slugger Brandon Moss hit his 100th career home run on Tuesday in his team's 2-1 win over the Royals on Tuesday. The ball landed in Cleveland's bullpen, so the club's relievers did exactly what good teammates should with the milestone keepsake: They held it for ransom.
Here's the note Moss got after the game:
Basically everyone wants Apple products, but "Ricky" -- presumably bullpen catcher Ricky Pacione -- would also accept $5000 cash. And "Zep" -- lefty Mark Rzepczynski -- apparently has plans to grease up a squeaky hinge or do some automobile maintenance.
