Kylie Jenner is shining a light on her hairstylist and close friend Jesus Guerrero's talent.

On March 14, the reality television star announced a new campaign for her clothing brand Khy's collaboration with Poster Girl, and she recalled the shoot being one of the last times she worked with Guerrero before he died suddenly at the age of 34. The heartbreaking news was announced by Guerrero's family on Feb. 23.

"It was hard for me to let go of these photos because it was one of the last few times @jesushair touched my hair," Jenner, 27, wrote in a now-expired Instagram Stories post, per Daily Mail. "We had such a fun work day and then went out to dinner after as we do. Ughh I miss u sm my angel.'

The emotional message captioned a photo of Jenner with voluminous curls and wearing a tight-fitted red latex minidress from the collection. She could also be seen with the voluminous curls in a video on her TikTok and in an interview she also posted on her TikTok.

At the time, a source told PEOPLE that the Kardashians star was "shocked and very upset" about Guerrero's death, adding that "she's doing everything she can to be supportive and aid his family, including financially."

"As upset as she feels, she knows it’s so much worse for his family. She doesn’t want them to stress about money. She’s taking care of expenses, including those associated with his funeral."

The description noted that the money previously raised “will go toward the costs associated with securing his belongings home” and other “unexpected expenses to settle his assets.”

"When this go fund me was set up we created it thinking we would have to take care of all the expenses ourselves. We didn't want to burden any clients with this.
