She joined the PEOPLE shopping team in July 2018 as a celebrity writer and is currently an editor and strategist, writing and editing digital content about everything from the skincare serums stars use to the exact sneakers they’re wearing. She specializes in tracking down budget-friendly fashion essentials to achieve celebrity looks for less. After extensively covering celebrity-worn brands for the past six years, Alex can quickly spot and identify products celebrities are wearing or using, like Allbirds sneakers, JW Pei handbags, and Away suitcases. (She’s personally a big fan of the Solawave Wand, which has been used on dozens of stars before red carpet events.)

Alex is always keeping tabs on A-listers' latest Instagram posts and street style photos for relatable fashion moments you’d want to copy. She also uses her extensive shopping knowledge to help identify trends and find the best online sales, especially for big events like Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Amazon Prime Day.
