It is worth noting that Rose is the only member of the girl group BLACKPINK who has never had recurring rumours about her dating life in her 8-year-long career in the K-pop industry. Moreover, her fans have commended her ability to keep her relationships hidden from prying eyes.

According to a report by Koreaboo, back in 2020, BLACKPINK Rose’s dating rumours with EXO’s member Chanyeol surfaced in the media. A photo gained momentum on social media, with many claiming that it was shared by the Korean media outlet Dispatch, known for revealing secret relationships of celebrity couples. Back then, many believed that the picture featuring Rose and Chanyeol was real, given that it featured the logo of the media outlet.
However, the photo turned out to be a photoshopped image featuring just the EXO member. According to Koreaboo, the photo of Chanyeol dates back to 2018 and resurfaced two years later after the 32-year-old’s cheating scandal came into the limelight. After the photo went viral, Dispatch released a statement highlighting that they never reported about the two idols dating, let alone posted a picture.
Dispatch posted a warning on its Instagram account, stating that it would take strict legal action against those who spread false information using its name. They also clarified that Rose and Chanyeol’s picture is fabricated.

Speaking of Rose, the K-pop star sat for an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music to promote her now-released album Rosie. During the conversation, Rose recalled how she would look at pictures from her past tours and immediately remember what she was going through in her personal life. She mentioned, “I would actually look at looks and be like, ‘Oh my god, that’s when I was going through the worst time of my life.’"
Despite being heartbroken, Rose noted that she looked good in those pictures. The K-pop idol added, “(I would be) like, ‘I remember that tour, I had the biggest fight (with my ex.)’ I looked so good, considering how heartbroken I was!"
Rose’s album Rosie consists of 12 tracks and was released on December 6.
